Meet Solar Eclipse. Solar Eclipse is a shy kitty who is around 4 years old, and has made great progress in her foster home, though she would still prefer to be seen and not approached. She will spend time in a room with her foster family, but usually from a distance. Solar Eclipse will often allow pets during meal or treat times. And she really likes meals and treats! Solar Eclipse enjoys the couch! But if people are in the room, she likes to sleep behind the chair or in the cat tower. Solar Eclipse does not like to be picked up and would do best in a calm adult home with a patient family that will take their time to earn her trust. Solar Eclipse LOVES other animals and would be happiest in a home with one or more other cats that she can be with. She is happy with her foster dog as well. The Feline Connection's Adoption Policy

The Feline Connection champions for cats who need homes and we are committed to finding each cat a safe and healthy permanent home. We work to find the best possible home matches for each of our stray, homelss or friendly colony cats based on their unique needs, and the needs of the adopter. We do not have a shelter location, so all of our animals are fostered with families in Rutland County, Vermont, mostly near Rutland. This gives us a unique capability to observe and interact with each cat in a relaxed home environment. Our conversation based adoption process starts with submitting an application followed by a conversation, vet and landlord check (if needed), and then cats visits and home visits as needed for the perfect match.
