Meet Solana, a beautiful long-haired calico cat with a captivating backstory!<br/><br/>The journey began when Cat Tales received a call from a concerned shop owner in Woodbridge, Virginia. The owner reported that Solana was living among the cars on their lot, and he was worried that she might be pregnant. He was also concerned for her safety and the safety of her potential kittens.<br/><br/>Our Cat Tales President immediately sprang into action. She arrived at the scene quickly, as she was on the road and nearby. After speaking with the owner, the search for Solana began.<br/><br/>After hours of searching, our dedicated team of two found Solanas kittens first. This discovery revealed that she had already given birth. Her four kittens were found nestled inside an automobile, cuddled up in a ball on the passenger floorboard. Our team quickly gathered the kittens and brought them to safety.<br/><br/>Once the kittens were secured, the search continued to locate their mother, Solana. Fortunately, one of the employees at the auto shop was able to pick up Solana and bring her to us, allowing us to reunite her with her kittens.<br/><br/>Solana was taken to her foster home, where she received the proper nutrition and care she desperately needed. Her kittens, Timmy, Ursula, Violet, and Willie, were overjoyed to be with their mother and nursing without a care in the world. Today, they have flourished and are happy, healthy, and ready for their new adventures.<br/><br/>Now that her kittens have been weaned, we are delighted for Solana to embark on the next phase of her life. Solana is friendly, affectionate, gentle, and independent simultaneously. Recently, she has begun to realize her ability to play and have some fun. Notably, she has discovered a rope that she enjoys playing with. <br/><br/>We estimate Solana to be around four years old. She is fully vetted, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/Feline Leukemia.<br/><br/>Solana has been living with a wonderful foster in Occoquan, Virginia, along with her kittens and two small dogs.
