Meet Sofi! She just celebrated her first birthday and is hoping you will help her celebrate all the future ones!<br/><br/>Sofi is a playful girl who enjoys spending her time playing with her siblings. She prefers wrestling with her sisters and brothers to playing with toys. However, if she had to pick a toy it would be a crinkle ball or a ball with a bell inside. As much as she loves to play she also likes to sleep. She can sleep anywhere, even in a flower pot! Sofi is also protective of her siblings; when she hears someone crying she immediately runs to check on them. Like her sister Mia, Sofi likes to be pet on her own terms. She will allow you to pet her when she is tired and also likes to be cuddled. Like her siblings she has a schedule: get up early for breakfast, play for a few hours, sleep, and then play some more! Sofi would thrive in a household with other cats who have the same playful energy. <br/><br/>Sofi needs to be adopted into a household with another playful cat/kitten OR with a sibling - April, Mia, Archie, or Dexter. <br/><br/>Currently in foster care in Inglewood. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.<br/><br/>We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.<br/><br/>We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.<br/><br/>When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.<br/><br/>If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.<br/>If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.<br/>Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community.
