Socks's Story
Socks is a 6 year old female who was tearfully surrendered to us by her loving family due to a military move. Her family described her as mellow, saying that she enjoys playing with her toy about once a week. She does not like to be held but will allow you to pick her up if needed. She quickly assimilated into her foster's home, but does not like the other cat that's there, so she may do best in a single cat home or with a slow introduction to other cats. She has happily gotten along with the kittens at Petco on U.S. 31 where she's waiting to find her new family.

Socks is her rescue name but her family called her Cinder or occasionally Cinderblock because she is a big girl!
