How did this sweet boy end up in such a scary spot? His family of 4 years surrendered him to the shelter when they had to move out of state to non-pet friendly housing. Socks is 4 years old and had known them as family his whole life. Cue broken heart emoji.<br/><br/>Socks is truly one-of-a-kind in both personality and looks. He's got a smooshed face, the pointiest ears, most striking green eyes, and the longest + lankiest body. Pair these amazing looks with his personality: loyal, goofy, playful, sweet, tender, silly and you have *the* best boy looking for his forever, forever home. Oh, we should also mention he doesn't meow he grumbles.<br/><br/>Did we mention he also has THE funniest sideways run/gallop? We have no idea who taught him how to move like that but it makes us audibly laugh out loud every time he does it (which is a lot).<br/><br/>Socks is in a foster home with other kitties (he has had a goofy but gentle play style with the other adult kitties in the house) and has tolerated 2 large dogs. But, he hates kittens, ha. He draws the line at kittens!<br/><br/>While his foster mama works from home, Socks will curl up on the desk right next to her and sit quietly for hours at a time.
