Snowball's Story

Best Match:

Seeking an adopter with some cat experience

Could join a calm home with older kids

May be ok with other cats

Needs to be indoor only

Currently on a special diet and medication for allergies

Snowball's philosophy is simple: There are three necessities in life - pets, cuddles, and food. Confident and friendly, Snowball is happy to play with any toy you give him, and frequently with small, soft objects that may not have come into existence intending to be toys but have taken on that role at Snowball's insistence.

Snowball is not the type of cat to pat-pat-pat your face to wake you up, or meow forlornly until you get out of bed, but once he knows you are awake he'll jump into bed for pets and snuggles before breakfast. At breakfast time he is happy to give advice and encouragement as you prepare his meal. Once he's broken his morning bread, he's ready for some zoomies and playtime before settling in for a long day of napping. At any point during this extended naptime he is happy to be called over to climb up onto a lap for extended cuddles and pets. Post-dinner, Snowball enjoys another round of zoomies and/or playtime.

Snowball shows early signs of asthma, which can be alleviated with frequent vacuuming and an air filter. He is also currently on a special diet to determine possible food allergies. He is also taking a medication to help with the coughing and allergies. When he needs medicine, it is easy to slip pills into a pill pocket, which he will happily eat. Adopter will have to continue care with their vet.

Snowball is a little nervous of new situations and people at first, but warms up quickly and wants to be your best friend!

Snowball is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
