Snow White's Story
Snow White
Est DOB: 5.27.23
Sex: Female

Snow White is a shy girl with a gentle disposition. She arrived with severe infections in both eyes and needed her left eye surgically removed shortly thereafter. Even in a stressful environment like the vets office, the staff there all remarked on how good-natured she remained while getting examined. Now, despite some permanent scarring and vision loss in her right eye, she still enjoys typical cat favourites such as chasing after toys and taking in the view out a window.

Snow White would do best in a quiet, adults-only home as with her limited vision, sudden movements can scare her more easily. She hides from strangers but reveals herself more with time to those who gain her trust. While she is getting used to a new space you can expect her to come out initially for food as she enjoys her meals, which currently consist primarily of a variety of wet foods, broth, and fish chunks. As she becomes more comfortable shed appreciate the cover of a table or cat tunnel in a common area to allow her to start being in your company from a safe space.

She enjoys both interactive and independent play with a variety of toys. Her favourite toys include pom-poms, critters stuffed with catnip, and springs. She seems most attracted to vertical scratching and will go after couch corners if a scratching post is not available. Snow White is not a fan of drinking water and will likely need alternative hydration supplements to ensure adequate fluid intake.

As of yet, Snow White has not had any direct interactions with dogs or other cats. She has appeared calm but curious when seeing other pets at the vet and her fellow fosters from a distance. Because of her cautious nature she may like being the only pet in a home, but may also be open to a slow introduction to another quiet, respectful animal companion.

Location: Foster Home

FILL OUT AN APPLICATION HERE-
www.cattheraypandrescue.com/adopt/
