Smokey's Story
Smokey has been at the Tunica Humane Society for several years, so long that the catroom has become the only home he can remember. In fact, Smokey has been adopted within the past couple of years and had to be returned after he stopped eating and drinking. Because of that, this gorgeous, shy, sweet boy will need a VERY patient, cat-savvy family to help him transition into a home environment, if that is indeed possible.

Smokey would do best in a quiet, relaxed environment. He is extremely shy, bordering on feral, but might, in time, learn to accept pets, sit on laps, etc. While we think he has that potential, there are certainly no guarantees.
