Over the past few weeks in his foster home, Smokey has made incredible progress, going from a timid kitten who preferred hiding to a sweet boy who seeks out attention, purrs happily, rolls onto his side for belly rubs, and even makes the cutest little squeaks to show his affection! <br/><br/>Smokey is a gentle soul who appreciates a calm environment, a soft voice, and someone who will let him build trust at his own pace. He’s still a little cautious around sudden movements and unfamiliar situations, but once he’s comfortable, those precious moments of affection are so rewarding.<br/><br/>A quiet, dog-free home would be ideal for Smokey, especially with someone who is patient, kind, and excited to build a special bond with their new companion.<br/><br/>Smokey may not be the first kitten to run up and greet you, but give him a little time, and you might just discover your new favorite cuddle buddy!<br/><br/>This special little boy has so much love to give. We rely solely on fostering, volunteers, donations, and adoption fees. An adoption fee of $175.00 must be paid at the time of adoption by either cash or check. All of our adoptable animals are assessed in foster homes, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
