Slurpee's Story
Some cats arrive in rescue looking picture-perfect. Slurpee arrived looking like she'd just survived a full-body dip in a mystery-flavored convenience store beverage.

When she first came into our care, she was absolutely covered in grime and residue. After a much needed bath, the water left behind looked less like bathwater and more like a giant cup of muddy Slurpee juice. The name practically picked itself.

As if that wasn't memorable enough, we soon discovered another unique feature: Slurpee is missing part of her tongue.

Now, before you start worrying, Slurpee would like everyone to know that she is doing just fine. She eats, drinks, cuddles, and enjoys life exactly as she should. The only real downside is that grooming can be a bit tricky when you're working with only part of the equipment. As a result, she'll need a family willing to help keep her beautiful coat in tip-top shape with regular brushing.

Thankfully, she's an excellent client! Baths aren't a problem. Being brushed is her favorite spa day activity! Being picked up and carried around like the princess she is, best. thing. ever!

In fact, Slurpee is one of those wonderfully affectionate cats who genuinely enjoys human attention. She loves being held, loves being doted on, and is always happy to spend quality time with her people. If your dream cat is one that wants to be involved in your day and doesn't mind a little extra affection, Slurpee is ready to fill that position immediately.

When she's not busy collecting pets, Slurpee can often be found enjoying the high life, no, literally. She loves elevated perches where she can survey her kingdom from above and keep an eye on all the important household happenings.

She's also respectful of her fellow felines and can happily coexist with other cats who appreciate her chill, easygoing nature.

Much like a real Slurpee on a hot summer day, this girl is equal parts refreshing, delightful, and guaranteed to improve your mood. She's sweet, colorful, a little unique, and impossible not to love.

All she needs now is a forever family willing to provide regular brushing, plenty of affection, and perhaps the occasional reminder that she's the prettiest girl in the room.

(Though we're pretty sure she already knows that)

So if you're looking for the ultimate summer treat, skip the convenience store and come meet Slurpee instead.
