Sloan's Story

Meet Sloan!
Miss Sloan is a 5 month old female Domestic Shorthair kitten. She is too young to be spayed currently, so her adopter will need to get that completed after taking her home.
Sloan was found up in a tree near the Sternberg Museum. The finders managed to coax her down and she was instantly befriending them! During her stray hold, we often referred to Sloan as "Slinky" because she looks and moves just like a slinky. Being only 5 months old, Sloan is constantly growing and thus she is a little thin and lanky. In a few more months, Sloan will reach her adult size and begin to fill out in the stomach area.
This little girl is so wiggly and always moving! It's been a challenge for us to capture photos of her with how much she moves! Sloan is definitely a curious gal and is always looking for an adventure. Given her super friendly nature, we believe Sloan will get along with just about anyone and everyone. She would love to have another friendly cat to hang out with, and we believe she would quickly adjust to a kind doggy too!
Sloan's family should be mindful and prepared for this adventurous girl as she may enjoy climbing things, fitting in tight spaces, or running right out the door. If you are one to be easily overstimulated by an active and curious cat, then Sloan might not be the cat for you.
Sloan is litterbox trained and has been given her first round of vaccinations. This chatty girl is going to be a wonderful addition to literally any home! If you are interested in her, come on out and meet her today!
