Sleeper (Courtesy Post)'s Story

Sleeper is a bundle of fun, joy, and affection who fully lives up to the reputation of orange cats. While he may be a little shy with new people at first, once he warms up he’s endlessly loving and will happily soak up your attention. In fact, Sleeper doesn’t just enjoy affection, he demands it!

This special boy is also leash-trained and loves spending time outdoors in the backyard on his leash, exploring and enjoying the fresh air. He thrives in a lively home with people and/or other pets around, as being alone indoors isn’t his idea of a good time.

Sleeper’s story is as remarkable as his personality, he was literally rescued after a very serious accident that required months of rehabilitation. Thanks to his fighting spirit and lots of care, he’s made a full recovery and is ready to bring happiness, affection, and playful orange-cat energy to his forever family.

Sleeper is being cared for by a member of the community. CAT MEDICAL HISTORY AND HEALTH All of our rescued cats have an initial health check when they are at the shelter. Our goal is to understand the health of each of our cats and provide that information to any potential adopter. However, we cannot guarantee the health of the cat. Therefore we recommend that you take your newly adopted cat to a licensed veterinarian as soon as possible after your adoption. Any known health issues will be disclosed at the time you meet the cat.
