Those beautiful green eyes, that soft slate-gray coat...and a heart that is absolutely overflowing with love. <br/><br/>Slater seemed to appear out of nowhere one day, and ever since, he’s been working his magic on everyone he meets. Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR was contacted by the kind woman who has been feeding him, because Slater doesn’t just stop by for a meal—he comes and stays all day, simply wanting to be near someone.<br/><br/>He rubs against everything, rolls over asking for belly pets, follows his feeder around and is downright insistent that he receive every little bit of affection she has to give. Slater doesn’t love halfway. This boy loves HARD.<br/><br/>When Slater showed up, he was not neutered and had no microchip—another indication that this sweet boy has been out there without anyone looking out for him. His feeder has understandably fallen completely in love with him, but unfortunately, her large dog has made it very clear that Slater cannot become part of the family. Slater, however, didn’t get that memo! As far as he’s concerned, every cat and dog he meets is supposed to be his new best friend.<br/><br/>And that makes this even harder...<br/><br/>Slater is still outside.<br/><br/>The cold weather is coming, and this incredibly affectionate boy shouldn’t have to spend another winter wondering where he belongs. He shouldn’t have to show up every day begging someone for pets, attention and a little piece of the love he so desperately wants.<br/><br/>Before Slater heads to his forever home, Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR will make sure he is fully vetted, neutered, tested and microchipped.
