Skyler's Story
*** NOTE: Please don’t use the “start your inquiry” button; instead send an email or fill out an application. Contact info is at the bottom of bio ***

Skyler was found as a stray in West Baltimore, and was having a rough time of it on the mean streets — he was starving and getting his butt kicked by other cats. After that experience, he will likely need some time and patience to settle into a new home. BUT! Once he does settle, he is a very friendly, affectionate little guy who will be your constant companion.

He’s SUPER playful and enjoys playing with all kinds of toys. He also loves to sit on his foster mom’s lap or her shoulder. He is definitely enjoying all the comforts of a good home after his very rough start to life.

Skyler is about a year old, and is now neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and microchipped. He is currently in a foster home in Charles Village (Baltimore)with another cat, who he is very curious about (she’s not so sure!). He likely would really benefit from having a feline friend, especially one that is confident and has good social skills. He has not been around dogs and very energetic/boisterous dogs might be a bit much for him, but calm, cat-friendly dogs might be OK with slow introductions. He hasn’t been around kids, but older kids would likely be fine as long as they know how to be gentle with animals.

If you have any questions about Skyler, email Erin at eharty@gmail.com. If you think you’d like to meet him, the first step is to fill out an adoption application, available here: https://bit.ly/pigtowncats
