What is Chesterfield County Animal Services’s adoption process?

Our adoption process requires an individual that is over 18 to fill out an adoption application. Staff will then review the applicants information and call vet and personal references. Once approved a meet and greet can be scheduled. If you decide you want to make this animal a permanent part of your life, we will set up a spay/neuter appointment and get your new baby home with you as soon as possible.
