Skirt's Story

***Sharonville Location *** Room 4 has not been the same since Skirt left quarantine and came to the free range room. Skirt, who is about 9 months old, is an alpha female in a room full of boys! Skirt was surrendered at Animal Care Center of Forest Park when she was tiny so she has not had any siblings to keep her in check. This has made her a bit of a wild child. She may do better as an only cat, or with another young cat to match her energy. It is unknown how she is with dogs. Consider making an appointment to see if you might be the right person or family to give Skirt the playtime and interaction she is craving. *Must be 21 or older to adopt **Our shelter has a policy to only adopt within a 50 mile radius so that if problems arise, the pet can easily be returned to the shelter.

HEARTT Animal Refuge's Adoption Policy

All adoptions are by appointment only. We have two locations, Sharonville and Bridgetown, so please clarify who you would like to meet so we can set up the appointment at the correct location. Our adoption fee for both dogs and cats is $100 per animal. We have a policy to only adopt to individuals age 21 or older. Additionally, we only adopt within a 50 mile radius so that if problems arise, the pet can easily be returned to the shelter. All animals are spayed/neutered and vaccinated prior to adoption. We also give flea and dewormer treatments. Dogs are tested for Heartworm and cats are quarantined for 8 weeks prior to FIV/FeLV testing. Consider a "Senior" pet.....they really need love and a home to call their own in their senior years. We have a few beautiful kittens and many adult cats that are looking for you.
