Skippy's Story
Skippy is a delightful torbie (gray tabby with orange highlights) female cat about 3 years old (DOB about 4/1/23). She has big, beautiful green eyes. She is also a tripod missing her right front leg. Her right front leg was broken and atrophied, so it had to be amputated when she was a kitten. Skippy is very sweet and loving. She loves to cuddle with me while watching TV and sleeps with me at night. She is laid back and comforting and not super active. She currently lives in a multi-cat home, and, unfortunately, she is being bullied by the other cats. The owner has tried anti-anxiety meds, taken her to the vet to ensure that there is not a medical issue involved, and consulted a behavioral specialist. All parties believe that Skippy will do better is new home without so many cats. Skippy would do best in a quiet home. The vets agree that she will probably be fine a gentle, laid-back dog and would be fine with older kids. She gets along well with two other cats in the household, so she might be ok with one other cat. She is current of her vaccines (had her exam and vaccinations in early Sept) and weighs around 8 lbs. If interested in Skippy, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 (land line) or hhfrey1@tds.net.
