Skeet's Story

Skeet spent his early days in a loving foster home with his mom, MK, his brother Buddy, and his sister Furiosa. Now that he's grown up a little, he is finally ready to find a forever home of his own!

Skeet is a friendly, playful kitten who loves attention and is always ready for some fun. He is good with dogs, does great with strangers, and is litter box trained. Like any kitten, Skeet loves to play, explore, and find new ways to keep himself entertained.

Skeet has received 2 of his 3 FVRCP vaccines and is pending his neuter and microchip.

All adopted cats spayed/neutered through ECHS will receive an eartip.

Erath County Humane Society's Adoption Policy
When someone comes in wanting to adopt, we first ask what they are looking for in a new pet. If they can describe what they are looking for, we will make some suggestions based on that criteria, and then let them go through the shelter looking at the adoptable animals. There are kennel cards on each kennel with information specific to that animal. Once they find an animal they are interested in we do a meet and greet with the person interested in adopting. If they have other pets, we recommend a meet and greet with current pets as well. Whatever animal the potential adopter chooses, we highly suggest a 5 day foster period to make sure the animal and the adopter are a good fit.
