Sissy's Story
Sissy is a petite tabby girl with stunning markings, huge expressive eyes and a personality that slowly sneaks right into your heart.

When we first met her, she was shy and cautious and needed time to decompress and learn to trust people. Because of that, her future adopters should expect to give her a little patience and space at first while she settles in. Once Sissy feels safe, her personality truly blossoms.

Now she happily inserts herself into as much attention and affection as possible and clearly wants to be closely connected to her people. She is wonderfully chatty — especially if food is involved — and always has something to say when snacks are being served.

Sissy is also a true superhero mama. She raised her own babies while helping care for kittens from two additional litters. She patiently taught all the kittens how to use the litter box and how to groom and bathe themselves. After spending so much time taking care of everyone else, the kittens helped bring out her playful side again and reminded her that she is still very young herself.

She would likely do well either as an only cat or as an addition to a home with other cats.

Sissy is the perfect match for someone looking for a true companion cat — one who may need a little time to warm up, but who forms a deep bond once she does.

Animal is Fostered in: Menomonee Falls, WI and able to go home on or after 5/30/26

He/She is scheduled for alteration on 5/28/26. If adopted prior to this date, adopter will sign an alteration contract and submit a $100 reimbursable deposit at the time of alteration. We ask that the deposit be in the form of a CHECK. Adopter will be expected to bring the animal to this surgery appointment on day, time and at location scheduled. If the adopter fails to bring to date of surgery, the deposit will NOT be refunded. We value the time our Veterinarian's provide us. We are charged a fee for cancellations or no show appointments. Missed appointments also delay care that other animals could be receiving. For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com

Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption:

Microchip

Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed)

Heartworm Testing (dogs); FELV/FIV Testing (cats)

Age appropriate CORE vaccines. Dhpp, Rabies (if old enough)-dog; CVR, Rabies (if old enough) - cat - WE DO NOT ADMINISTER BORDETELLA unless indicated. PLEASE NOTE- puppies and kittens may need to complete vaccination schedule depending on age at time of adoption.

Dewormed

All breeds are best guess from veterinarian based on physical exam. All animals come from high kill shelters with poor access to resources. Once they arrive to our rescue they are quarantined for health purposes and spoiled in loving foster homes until their forever home is found! Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.
