Sissy's Story
Sissy is a petite 1.5 year old tabby girl with stunning markings, huge expressive eyes and a personality that slowly sneaks right into your heart. Weighing just 6.5 pounds, she is tiny enough to look like a forever kitten.

When we first met Sissy, she was shy and cautious. She needed time to decompress, feel safe and learn to trust people. Because of that, her future adopters should expect to give her a little patience and space at first while she settles in. Once Sissy feels safe, her personality truly blossoms.

Sissy is a true superhero mama. She raised her own kittens while helping care for babies from two additional litters. She patiently taught countless kittens how to use the litter box, groom themselves and navigate the world. Now all of her babies have been adopted and Sissy is finally waiting for a forever home of her own.

At just 1.5 years old, she is finally getting the chance to be a kitten herself. Her playful and silly side has emerged and she spends her days chasing toys, exploring and enjoying the carefree life she never really had while raising babies.

Her happiest place is perched by a window watching the world go by while receiving scratchies behind her ears. While her love is a slow burn, once Sissy decides you are her person, she is completely devoted. One of her sweetest habits is collecting little scraps of cardboard or paper and carefully placing them near your shoes as gifts.

These days she happily inserts herself into as much affection as possible. She is wonderfully chatty, especially when food is involved, and always has something to say when snacks are being served.

Sissy would likely do well either as an only cat or as an addition to a home with other cats. She is the perfect match for someone looking for a true companion cat: one who may need a little time to warm up but who forms a deep and lasting bond once she does.

After spending so much of her young life caring for everyone else, it is finally Sissy's turn to be loved, spoiled and cherished.

Animal is Fostered in: Menomonee Falls, WI and able to go home on or after 5/30/26

He/She is scheduled for alteration on 5/28/26. If adopted prior to this date, adopter will sign an alteration contract and submit a $100 reimbursable deposit at the time of alteration. We ask that the deposit be in the form of a CHECK. Adopter will be expected to bring the animal to this surgery appointment on day, time and at location scheduled. If the adopter fails to bring to date of surgery, the deposit will NOT be refunded. We value the time our Veterinarian's provide us. We are charged a fee for cancellations or no show appointments. Missed appointments also delay care that other animals could be receiving. For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com

Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption:

Microchip

Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed)

Heartworm Testing (dogs); FELV/FIV Testing (cats)

Age appropriate CORE vaccines. Dhpp, Rabies (if old enough)-dog; CVR, Rabies (if old enough) - cat - WE DO NOT ADMINISTER BORDETELLA unless indicated. PLEASE NOTE- puppies and kittens may need to complete vaccination schedule depending on age at time of adoption.

Dewormed

All breeds are best guess from veterinarian based on physical exam. All animals come from high kill shelters with poor access to resources. Once they arrive to our rescue they are quarantined for health purposes and spoiled in loving foster homes until their forever home is found! Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.
