Meet Sissy - The Golden Girls Generation
Some cats are kittens.
Some cats are adults.
And then there's Sissy, who has officially reached the age where she's earned the right to say:
"I'm not old. I'm vintage."
At 9 years old, Sissy is entering her distinguished lady era, and frankly, she's handling it beautifully.
Sure, she might appreciate a dental down the road.
But let's be honest...
So would most of us.
Unlike many senior cats, Sissy isn't taking medications, doesn't come with a complicated instruction manual, and isn't looking for a full-time nursing staff. She's simply a wonderful cat who somehow found herself in a shelter when she should be lounging on a couch, judging reality television and supervising snack time.
And can we talk about this photo?
That face says:
"I have survived things you wouldn't understand."
But also:
"Please continue petting me."
It's a very specific vibe.

Sissy is:
Spayed (though at this point we're pretty sure menopause had already handled that situation)
Up to date on shots
Microchipped
Healthy and happy
Ready to retire from shelter life immediately
The thing about cats like Sissy is that they don't need to learn how to be good companions.
They've already mastered it.
No teenage rebelli
