I am an adult cat who was left in a carrier by the dumpster behind Paws and Claws the evening of December 3, a night when the temperatures were dropping well below freezing. Luckily a staff member saw me and brought me indoors before I got too cold. Im called Sissy, and I was understandably nervous. If people approach me slowly, I do like being petted. Now that I have a comfortable bed and good food to eat, my body has warmed up. With care and attention from kind human beings, my spirit will become more open and trusting as well.
