Sir Robin the Brave's Story

Sir Robin the Brave (neutered male)
DOB March 14, 2025

Meet Sir Robin, the sweet soul who dreamed of a home while living in a colony. Although he had a rough start to life including a herpes infection that left his right eye scarred, he is full of life and love.

Sir Robin is a total goofball, bursting with playful energy and fluff. He's the life of the party—chasing his foster siblings like a road runner then tumbling over and scrambling his feet on the vinyl floor going nowhere like a cartoon character when he gets spooked and tries to run. He made fast friends with all his foster cat siblings due to his carefree nature and sweet disposition. Since being introduced to man-made toys, he has developed a love of the ball track, tunnels, springs and is a master at tracking the teaser toys with his eyes and catching the bait mid air.

He loves gazing out the window lounging like a king on the top of the cat trees. He is not territorial about space, isn't a bully or a peace disturber but also knows how to stand his ground and play hard :) He shows no desire to go outside again.

After a bout of upper respiratory issues and gut troubles, he’s thriving on a regular clean diet in an indoor setting. If kept in an indoor environment with other fully vaccinated cats, it is likely he will not have frequent respiratory flareups but if they recur, can be easily managed with lysine, a humidifer and antibiotics. As he was eating a variety of different things outdoors, it left his guts a wee bit inflamed. However, for the past 2wks everything has been 100% and it is expected to continue. With any gut upset it would be recommended to give probiotics such as fortiflora with food.

Adoption fee is $175. This helps the rescue recover a portion of the vetting costs incurred while in care.
Robin is negative for fiv, feleuk, panleuk, heartworm and giardia. He has been neutered, dewormed 3 times, treated for mites, had 2 fvrcp vaccines so far and a vet check.

Robin is finally ready to bring endless love and playfulness to a family who will dote on him - a furbuddy would be a bonus! He’s truly a special boy who deserves the finest things in life.

Apply to adopt at www.whiskerwarriorsmb.ca/adoption-application
