At just two years old, Simba is a playful, friendly boy who has a LOT to say. He's very vocal and will happily let you know when he wants attention. And while we cant be certain, we suspect a fair bit of that chatter translates to, Come on, lets PLAY! Simba loves to run and chase a toy mouse and would be happiest in a home where he can get lots of playtime. He's friendly and fine with being picked up, but he's not really a lap cat. Simba would rather be part of the action, playing nearby and keeping an eye on what his humans are up to. When he's ready to recharge, you'll find him happily snoozing in his cat tree. Simba can be easily spooked, and when he's frightened, he may swat to protect himself. Its not meanness - its his way of saying, hey, that scared me! Giving him a little space when he's unsure will help him feel safe and confident. We really aren't sure how Simba is with other cats. He really wants to meet the cats in his foster home, but he tends to go after them. We don't know whether its because he just wants to play or because he truly doesn't like them. So, for this reason, we are going to say no to other cats. A busy household with someone who enjoys playing with their cat could be a great match for Simba.<br/><br/>Simba came to us as a stray from animal services. We aren't sure how he found his way there, but we do know he didn't need to be there, so he came to us to find his forever home at last!<br/><br/>If you're looking for a handsome ginger boy with a big personality, lots of energy and plenty to say, Simba is ready to meet you! Hell need a family who can keep his body and brain busy, give him lots of playtime, and appreciate all the fun that comes with having a very vocal orange boy around.<br/><br/>As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first-come, first-served.
