Simba has not been tested with other cats, dogs or children. We believe he came from a household where he lived as a solo kitty. However, based on his easygoing personality and experience in foster care, he may do well in a home with children and with a proper and slow introduction, he may enjoy the company of another kitty. <br/><br/>Meet Simba, a stunning orange tabby full of spunk and love. Simba is a friendly and affectionate boy who loves to be near his people, basking in their affection and showering them with his love. One look into his beautiful green eyes and you’re lost!<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a cat who loves to follow you around, sit with you as you watch TV or read a book, and sleep by your side, Simba is your boy. He loves head, chin and ear rubs and full body pets too. Just listen to him purr! He can easily be picked up although he doesn’t particularly like being held or carried for long.<br/><br/>Simba stays active by batting around his spring toys, chasing a laser and swatting at his wand toys. Watching him sprint across a room is always a joy! He enjoys his cat TV too. He uses both vertical and horizontal scratchers so your furniture is safe!<br/><br/>Simba recently had Perineal Urethrostomy (PU) surgery for a urinary blockage. The surgery was a success and he has had an excellent recovery. To keep him healthy, Simba requires a prescription urinary diet. He has a healthy appetite and enjoys both dry and wet food, treats not so much. He has excellent litter box habits.<br/><br/>Simba is a special boy who was clearly loved before coming into our care. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
