Simba 4 <br/>**AT HUNTERS KITTEN LOUNGE**<br/>M, 11yrs 7mo<br/><br/>Simba is a beautiful, goofy boy who you can't help but smile at. He has had some challenges, and is ready for a life of luxury, and a lap to lay in. <br/><br/>Simba is part of a “bonded pair”, which consists of himself and his hair brush. They are a package deal! He loves his hairbrush and will use it to brush himself with (which is so incredibly cute), though he doesn't mind if you help too. <br/><br/>Though older, Simba has a youthful spirit and loves string toys and playing with water. Once he's had some fun, this guy will stretch out for a nap on a couch, bed, or your lap. He is a great TV buddy and melts right into you. Simba is all legs and turns into putty once he is in your arms. He likes being held, rocked to sleep, and told that he is very handsome. <br/><br/>Simba co-existed well with other cats in foster and at the lounge and would likely do well in a variety of homes. He is a pretty chill guy and is not easily phased. With proper introductions, he would likely do well with both dogs and children of all ages. He does love his people, and would also do okay as an only cat as long as he got plenty of love and attention. <br/><br/>Simba has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and currently takes an inexpensive anti platelet medication to prevent clots. He takes this easily in a pill pocket, no “pilling” needed. He received an echocardiogram while in SACR's care, and should continue to have his heart checked periodically with echos/lab-work. Simba had hyperthyroidism which was successfully cured with radioactive iodine treatment. He does have early-stage, stable, kidney insufficiency. This should be monitored, but no treatment is indicated for him at this time. He also recently had a dental, and has no teeth, but it doesn't slow him down. He can still eat wet and dry foods without issue!<br/><br/>Simba is neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
