Silvie

Sweet Silvie arrived at the shelter wearing a cone. While she does look adorable sporting this colorful cone; I’m sure she would be much happier without it. Why does she have to wear it? It was thought that she had food allergies which caused her to scratch at her face. The cone prevents her from hurting herself. We faithfully fed her a special diet but nothing changed. An allergen panel was done that showed no food allergies. Other tests showed no issues. Could it be stress related? Maybe. Silvie is otherwise healthy, friendly and playful. We still have no clear answer as to why she does this but we are hoping that someone will give her a loving home where this may improve. Are you up for that challenge?
