Silver's Story

Hi! I’m Silver. I was found at the Navy exchange where there are tons of coyotes and I couldn’t live there very long. <br/>My mom put us inside a car engine for safety. It’s a good thing. One of the employees called the rescue and got me to safety. I love living inside. I’m a Russian blue mix snd my mom is Siamese. My dad is a beautiful long-haired black cat that might be Himalayan. We’re not exactly sure.<br/><br/>I’m gentle, Sweet, I love my brother Velvet so maybe we can go home together.

Community Cat Foundation's Adoption Policy

Once a potential adopter sees a post on an available a cat or kitten, we do an initial phone call, send them an application, schedule a phone or in person interview. If approved, they receive adoption counseling, They can visit the kitten of their choice, and if all works out, they take their cat home. We keep in touch with our adopters and offer microchip registration in case a cat is ever lost.
