Silk's Story

Meet Silk — a gentle, long-haired beauty with a heart as soft as her name.

Silk is a shy little lady who prefers quiet corners and slow introductions, but don’t let her timidity fool you—behind those cautious eyes is a deeply loving companion just waiting for the right person to trust. She finds comfort in calm environments and would thrive in a peaceful home where she can take her time settling in.

Her luxurious coat is as elegant as her personality, and with a bit of patience (and maybe a few treats), you’ll discover how much she enjoys gentle affection and soft companionship. Silk isn’t the type to demand attention, but once she bonds with you, she’ll be your quiet shadow—always nearby, always devoted.

If you’re someone who understands that love sometimes grows slowly, Silk could be the perfect addition to your home. Give her the chance to blossom, and she’ll reward you with a lifetime of quiet loyalty and warmth.

**Silk will be spayed, vaccinated against Rabies, and FIV/Feline Leukemia combo tested prior to going to her new home. She has been given a feline distemper vaccination and dewormer.**

Silk will have an adoption fee of $105 with an approved adoption application. This fee will cover the cost of her spay, vaccination given in shelter, dewormer, and FIV combo test. This fee does NOT cover the cost of her Rabies vaccination, this additional fee is paid by her adopter, directly to the vet clinic at time of pick up.

If you'd like to be considered for Silk's adoption, you may submit an adoption application here:
https://libertymissouri.gov/FormCenter/Liberty-Animal-Shelter-7/Liberty-Animal-Shelter-Adoption-Applicat-543

The Liberty Animal Shelter is open Monday and Tuesday 10a to 5p, Wednesday through Friday 10a to 6p, and 10a to 3p on the weekends.
*hours subject to change*

We cannot guarantee the availability of any particular animal,
