Silas Gentlepaw's Story

Silas Gentlepaw is a loving cat with lots of personality. He was found on the streets and had scars to show he had some rough times. But he is a lover around people and ready for a comfortable life indoors!

Silas is 10+ years old and is FIV+, but in good health and full of playful energy at times. Most of the time he just wants to talk to you to tell you that he loves you and could use some more head scritches! He likes to rub against the volunteers' legs and sit next to them for lots of pets. He is not shy and is interested in all new people that he meets. He is ok with being picked up.

Silas would probably be ok with a friendly, gentle dog. He should only be adopted with other FIV+ cats or be the only cat in the house. Teens or adults only in the home would be best for him. You can meet him at Glenmont Petsmart and see just how special this guy is!

FIV is not contagious to people or any other animals except cats, and only through a deep bite wound.

If you are interested in this beauty or any of our other angels, you can complete an adoption application online at:

https://www.kittenangels.org/adopt

Please indicate on the adoption application that you are interested in Silas Gentlepaw fostered by Glenmont.

Please note, fosters do get final approval for any adoption as they are most familiar with the personalities of their foster kittens and cats.

Kitten Angels is a non profit, volunteer organization. We rely solely on fostering, volunteers, donations, and adoption fees. An adoption fee of $175.00 must be paid at the time of adoption by either cash or check. All of our adoptable animals are assessed in foster homes, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
