Silas's Story

Meet Silas! Silas is a 10 month old handsome guy! He can be shy at first, but warms up! He previously lived with other cats and kids! It was noted in his exam form for surgery, that he has a small mouth mass or tissue overgrowth (about the size of a popcorn kernal) behind his bottom molar in the one side of his mouth. It does not affect his eating or swallowing, nor is it currently causing him any issues. We have talked with our shelter vet who will be removing it, as soon as an appointment opens up. Silas is currently available on a MEDICAL FOSTER TO ADOPT, UNTIL WE CAN GET HIM IN TO AN APPOINTMENT. He was FeLV/FIV Combo tested since this was found, but the test was negative for both viruses. We recommend a relationship with a veterinarian, in case he ever needs further care for this issue again in the future. Neutered, mircochipped, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention.
