Siggy is a 1yearold cat who has been patiently waiting for her chance. She stayed in foster care while the cat house was on quarantine, and during that time she began to show her gentle, trusting side. With time and consistency, she even started sitting in her foster's lap and asking for pets.<br/><br/>She's still shy, and being back at the cat house has her back to being a little cautious. But we've already seen what a loving companion she can be once she feels secure. When Siggy is comfortable, she leans in for affection and offers a strong, steady purr in return.<br/><br/>We believe that with a calm home and a little patience, her shyness will melt away and the sweet cat we met in foster care will shine through again.<br/><br/>Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary. We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws.<br/><br/>We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday. Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet.
