Sierra's Story

Meet Sierra! This beautiful 7-year-old, 10 lb. tortie is looking for a fresh start. She was adopted a few months ago from a shelter in Texas, but her owner can no longer keep her. Unfortunately, she is not good with other cats and has attacked the other resident felines on multiple occasions. Sierra is now being kept separate from them until she can find a new place for her to go so the situation is pretty urgent.

Sierra is a playful yet independent girl who enjoys the simple things in life, including chasing wand toys, batting around little cat balls, and soaking up pets around her ears and neck. She is good with children and has lovely manners around the house. Sierra consistently uses her litter box, prefers her scratching post over furniture, and loves curling up in cozy dome beds.

She may be shy when meeting new people and will likely hide until she feels comfortable, but with a little patience and time, she'll settle in and show you her sweet personality. Sierra would be happiest in a home where she doesn't have to share her space, attention, or favorite sunny spots with other animals. As already stated, she is not good with cats, dogs are unknown.

Sierra is part of our Home-to-Home Surrender Program so her adoption fee is just $125 and she is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. She's still currently with her owner in Ellington, CT so meet & greets will take place there.
