Hi! My name is Shylo. My foster mom gave me that name because I am shy and will need time to adjust to my space and with people. I need to have a safe place while I am adjusting. Once I am comfortable, you can rub my chin and belly, and pet me all over. I like to sit on my foster mom's lap and have her rub my tummy, and listen to me purrrrrr. I love having my belly rubbed. I like to play with all kinds of toys, the little bouncy coils are my favorite and I like the laser beam. I'm not a fussy eater; I like dry and wet food and really good about using my litter box. Waseca County Animal Humane Society's Adoption Policy

To adopt one of our adoptables, your first step is to email us at wcahsadoptions@gmail.com and request an application. Once that application is returned, we will review it and contact you to discuss a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. This does not "save you a spot in line" as we are committed to finding the best MATCH for each family, and unfortunately, that doesn't always happen in the order the applications are received. One of the advantages of a foster based organization is we get to know our animals, and the kind of home life they need to thrive. We want you AND your new pet to be very happy for a long, long time. Under no circumstances do we give animals away without a fee to cover part of their vet care. Our Adoption Fees are as follows: (Subject to change) *Reminder-Senior adoption program decreases these prices by 50% for adult animals! Puppies: $375 or more depending on breed Adult Dog 6mos - starts at $125.00 but can be more or less depending on breed and training
