Shy is a very curious bashful kitten who got her name honestly. This sweet girl came into the shelter scared to death. Once she went into a foster home she really started to blossom. Shy still makes you work to earn her trust. She needs someone who can be patient with her. Trust me, its worth the wait! She is full of love and affection. The key to her heart and trust are other cats! She loves other feline companions. Shy will need a fur sibling in her new home. Nelson County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
We ask that potential adopters view our pets online. If interested in a particular pet we ask for adopters to submit a pre-adoption application. Once we receive a completed application it takes a few days of processing time. Applicants will be contacted and made aware the status of their application. Approved applicants will be scheduled to come and meet the pet they applied for. If all goes well with the meeting, the adopter we be able to take the lucky pet home!
