Shoyu

Hi, my name is Shoyu. I am a 4-legged family member in a 2-legged world. You see, I joined the family as a kitten but there were not other kittens or cats in the family, so, well, in many cases, we don't always learn good cat manners. Don't get me wrong, I am a pretty cool dude, and I love to play, but sometimes I get overly playful and bite in my excitement. There is an older cat in the house now and I am not much on sharing my people. My mom knows that I would do better as an only cat, so she has asked SCC to help find me the purr-fect home. I would probably be better with older kids, because the younger kids might not be able to read my 'cat signs' when playing. I do love to play fetch and I really like being with my people. I don't have any dog experience, so, let's not go there. I was diagnosed with mild asthma and have medication that I take, and it is pretty manageable. I am quite cooperative with the inhaler, because I know that I am going to get a treat afterword (nothing wrong with treats!!) I am strictly indoor only and that suits me just fine.
