Shiva and Emmy were rescued from a colony of cats who had no experience with humans. They have been at a foster home for the last few months, and are doing great but they are taking a little longer to become completely comfortable with human touch. They are bonded and will need to stay together. They are comfortable with other cats, but have never been around other animals or kids. These beautiful girls need a quiet home who is willing to give them a safe and loving environment to allow them to continue working on coming out of there shells.

The Cat's Sass Rescue's Adoption Policy
We begin by informing possible adopters to head to our website to see the cats that are available for adoption. If any catch tehir eye, they fill out an adoption application, which lets us know what cat or cats they are interested in, and tells us all about their household (is it busy or quiet, do they have young kids,, other cats or dogs, etc). Once we determine they would be a good match (not al cats are a good fit for all households and we want the best fit for our cats), we arrange a meet and greet at our Catty Shack (a barn building renovated into a temporary housing facility for up to 20 cats, but it is not open to the public, it is on private land). If they seem to get along at the meet and greet, we will do a trial adoption, and after 7-10 days we will reach out and chat about how things are going, any concerns they have, or if they are happy. If they are happy and want to adopt, we will finalize the adoption process and they will sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
