Shiloh's Story

Shiloh is about 2 years old and was brought to us from an overcrowded home. She is a timid girl who transforms during the quiet hours of the shelter. Shiloh will roll around with every toy she can find, and she scratches her favorite post in between zoomies.

Her bright eyes are easily recognized in the Middle Cattery; their vibrant color can be spotted from across the room. Shiloh enjoys the company of other cats and would do wonderfully with a brave friend. Right now, she is often found curiously watching visitors in her hidey bed.

The shelter environment is frightening for a nervous kitty like Shiloh, but we know a special someone will choose her and watch her blossom in their home.

Stop by to fill out an adoption application and spend as much time as you like with our cats. Please call your veterinarian to permit them to speak with us for our vet check. If you rent, bring proof (lease/contract) that you are allowed to have a cat.

Our adoption fee is $50 for cats. This includes spay/neuter if five months or older, age-appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV testing, deworming, and flea/tick prevention. If they are too young to be fixed, we require a $50 deposit that will be refunded upon proof that the pet has been altered.

For more info on our shelter and available pets, check us out online:

West Milford Animal Shelter Society
Lycosky Drive, West Milford, NJ 07480
(973) 728-2859

Visiting Hours
Mon - Fri: 10 - 1
Wed Night: 7:30 - 9
Weekends: 10 - 3
