Shiitake's Story

Hi, I'm Shiitake! I'm a stunning Tortie Point Siamese with striking blue eyes and a story to tell. I came from a home with over 20 cats and arrived with some health issues, but thanks to lots of care, I'm on the mend and starting fresh. I'm a tiny little thing and very easy to handle--if I get startled, I might give a soft hiss, but I've never scratched or bitten. I'm just figuring things out at my own pace.<br/><br/>All the recent changes have been a lot for me, so I can seem a bit unsure right now--but the humans here are working on winning me over with love (and treats!). One of my favorite things is curling up for a quiet nap tucked into a cozy drawer where I feel safe. I'm learning that I'm finally secure and cared for... and soon, I hope, I'll have a home where all the love is mine. Will you take a chance on me? đŸ’™

Our adoption fees are: Kittens under 1 year: $125.00 Adult Cat 1 year - 8 years: $99.00 Senior Cats 8 years+: $69.00 Seniors for Seniors Program: $25 HART's adoption fees include: All cats and kittens are spayed or neutered prior to leaving our shelter Vaccinations Worming, de-fleaing and de-miting A free veterinary exam - a list of local area vets is included Collar and ID tag - your pet is registered with HART Health records Tips and guidelines for introducing your new pet into your home. A cardboard carrier - or you can bring your own carrier at the time of adoption. All HART cats are microchipped.
