Shelley Domestic Short Hair Monroe, CT

Sweet Shelley likes to be cozy in small spaces with blankets. At 10-12 years old, Shelley is vaccinated & in good health (all original medical documents provided at adoption). She is a sweet girl that allows all handling, poking, and prodding. She may complain, but will still let you wipe away any eye boogies. Her purr, however, is deep with gratitude. Shelley was literally abandoned at the SPCA of Connecticut with her 2 housemates, Byron and Percy. Together, these 3 comprise "the poets". Although they came in together, they do not act exceptionally bonded so we are comfortable adopting them out separately. Shelley loves affection and is a well-behaved lady. She has not been at the shelter too long, so she is so well-behaved even during what is most likely the most stressful month of her life. The Poets were abandoned with a short note, saying their owner died and they were unwanted by her family. Surely, they miss their person and are confused by this sudden, jarring change.

Shelley curls her 10.8 lb body into the coziest of places! Such a good girl deserves to be in a warm loving home again.
