Sheba's Story
Welcome, friends! It is I, Sheba, your future queen. Please take a moment to read about how I am the ruler your kingdom so desperately needs.

I was found as a stray with a large wound on my back. Veterinary professionals believe I may have been bitten by an animal. But fear not, as my fur has grown back quite lovely and one could not even tell what I had been through.

I am estimated to be about six years young. If you ask me, I am simply the perfect age for a home that wants a friendly, calm companion that still has a playful streak to them!

To best get to know me, I have been spending time in a foster home. My fosters say I am quite gentle and do not scratch. I also have no problem using the litter box- either a regular old box or even one of those fancy new "Litter Robots"!

I am in foster with another cat and do not mind their presence. Therefore, I would be fine going to a home as a single cat or perhaps another similarly calm kitty that is fine with newcomers.

But of course humans need their attention as well, correct? My foster family say I am quite cuddly and enjoy lounging alongside them. When I have a streak of energy, you're likely to find me playing with toys that chirp- my innate hunting instincts sure do love the thrill they provide!

My foster family say that I am curious, smart, trusting, and brave. I listen very well and learn quickly- unlike most other cats! I also enjoy wet food and Churu treats but I also feed on dry food, as well.

I may appear like a humble brown tabby yet spend a few minutes with me and you'll quickly understand the treasure trove of love, warmth, and laughter I can provide you for years to come. Fill out an application to meet me in all my glory!________________________________________________

If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.

**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment only after your application is approved.
