Shannon's Story

This kitten is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply.

If you have ever wanted a kitten who is gentle, sweet, and basically custom-built for cuddles, Shannon is here, and he is absolutely ready to apply for the position of your new favorite nap buddy! This grey tabby with short fur is two and a half months old, deeply affectionate, and has a calm and gentle soul that makes him an absolute joy to be around from the moment he decides you are trustworthy, which does not take long at all. Shannon can be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly to anyone willing to offer a kind hand and a cozy lap. Once he is comfortable, this sweet boy is all in, curling up with his person for naps, watching television from his favorite hammock, and soaking up every pet and scratch with quiet contentment. He loves wand toys and crinkle balls and enjoys a good play session, but if you asked Shannon to choose between playtime and cuddle time, cuddle time would win every single time. He does wonderfully with other cats and warms up nicely to new people, making him a flexible and easygoing addition to most loving homes. Shannon is the kind of kitten who will make your home feel calmer, cozier, and just a little bit more complete. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
