Alias: Shank (The Brains of the Operation)​Shank, along with her two brothers and sister (notoriously known as 'The Jailbirds'), recently busted out of the New Mexico penitentiary (okay, it was a shelter) and made a high-speed escape to Denver. They are currently hiding out in a local foster home, but Shank is ready to find her permanent safehouse.​Don't let her sweet face fool you—she was definitely the mastermind behind the great escape. Shank is a clever, highly athletic girl who is always on the move. She promises to keep you thoroughly entertained with her stealthy pounces, expert ball skills, and high-energy antics.​But even masterminds need downtime. Once her 'wild child' energy is spent, Shank loves nothing more than pulling off a cuddle heist. She will happily curl up in your lap for a long, cozy nap.​The Ideal Co-Conspirator:Shank would thrilled to be adopted with one of her siblings, but she isn't overly picky. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!<br/><br/>$350 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.<br/>$225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.
