Shane's Story

Shane is a reserved & shy cat who would do great in a home with other reserved, mellow cats. He would do best in a home without children as they make him nervous.<br/><br/>While he has not been tested around dogs, we can experiment if the perfect home would like to try it out. We anticipate he would not do well with dogs. <br/><br/>Shane is neutered, vaccinated and dewormed.

Hampton County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters must schedule an appointment to meet with our animals. After they find a pet they believe would be a good fit, they must fill out our adoption application. Once application is approved we encourage/require (if animal is unaltered) the adopter to take animal home on a 10-day foster trial. Once they have spent significant time with the animal and know they are the right fit, we will finalize the adoption by receiving the adoption fee and/or spaying/neutering the animal.
