Shane

Shane is an energetic and curious kitten who loves to play. He has no fear and will do anything for a toy with a string. When he's tired from playing, he will happily walk right into your lap and fall asleep. He is a true lap cat with an affectionate soul.<br/><br/>He has a big appetite and loves mealtime. He could easily go to a home with other friendly cats—he is constantly trying to hang out with his adult cat housemates. <br/><br/>At this time, Shane currently has a heart murmur. With kittens specifically, heart murmurs can arise during growth spurts, and often go away on their own by 4-5 months of age. These types of murmurs are referred to as innocent or physiologic heart murmurs. The rescue will cover the cost of a recheck of this murmur once he is 6 months of age, and an echocardiogram if the murmur is still present at that time.
