Shaggy's Story

Introducing Shaggy! Shaggy is a little over 2 years old, and incredibly handsome with his Siamese and Snowshoe mix coloring. Shaggy was brought to his foster home with his two brothers as older kittens, who were all initially quite nervous around humans. Over time, Shaggy has grown to really love his foster mom, who gave him plenty of time to learn to trust. Shaggy loves getting pets from her, lets her rub his belly, and likes being brushed. He shows his love to her by rubbing his face against her and circling her legs when she's getting his meals. Shaggy likes her husband a bit as well. Shaggy would love to find a quiet forever home with patient humans who give him time and space to trust and adjust. Shaggy would enjoy a feline brother or sister, and has also lived with a small dog. The Feline Connection's Adoption Policy

The Feline Connection champions for cats who need homes and we are committed to finding each cat a safe and healthy permanent home. We work to find the best possible home matches for each of our stray, homelss or friendly colony cats based on their unique needs, and the needs of the adopter. We do not have a shelter location, so all of our animals are fostered with families in Rutland County, Vermont, mostly near Rutland. This gives us a unique capability to observe and interact with each cat in a relaxed home environment. Our conversation based adoption process starts with submitting an application followed by a conversation, vet and landlord check (if needed), and then cats visits and home visits as needed for the perfect match.
