His mother, who had been caring for Shady, could no longer keep up with the grooming her long black fur requires, so Shady came to WARL in hopes of finding a peaceful, loving retirement home.<br/><br/>This beautiful girl is as sweet and laid-back as they come. She has plenty of affection to offer and enjoys quiet companionship. Shady is the kind of cat who would be perfectly content lounging by a sunny window, relaxing on a cozy blanket, and soaking up gentle attention from her favorite humans.<br/><br/>Shady previously lived with children, cats, and dogs and did well with them, but at her age, she may simply prefer a calm home where she can enjoy her golden years in comfort. A single person or a couple.
