Meet Shadow<br/>Shadow is a sweet, curious four-month-old kitten with soft dark gray and white fur—and a thoughtful little personality to match. She’s the family watcher, often observing everything around her before deciding it’s time to join in.<br/>Once she’s ready to play, Shadow is all in. She loves chasing feather toys, especially her favorite jellyfish-shaped one, and batting balls around like a tiny soccer star. She enjoys playing with her mom and sister, but is also happy entertaining herself. And if you’re lucky, you might hear her adorable little kitten meow.<br/>Shadow is more cautious with people than her sister, so she’ll do best with someone patient who lets her approach at her own pace. Quick movements, especially from above, can startle her. Give her time, gentle attention, play, and a few Churu treats, and she’ll begin to show her affectionate side. She especially enjoys chin and ear rubs, and will move away when she’s ready for a break.<br/>Shadow is bonded with her sister and would be happy to be adopted with her. She could also thrive with another friendly, playful young cat to keep her company and help her feel confident. She’d love a home with toys, playtime, and people who understand that trust takes time. She hasn’t been around dogs in our care, so we don’t know how she’d respond.<br/>Shadow and her mom and sister were rescued from a friend’s backyard, where they had been living as strays. Since coming indoors, she’s been steadily growing more comfortable with people and affection. She’s spayed, up to date on her vaccines—including distemper and rabies—and has no known medications or special care needs. She eats Purina Pro Plan Kitten wet and dry food and especially enjoys wet food with Weruva OMG Gravy on top.<br/>We named her Shadow for her dark coat and because she’s her mom’s little shadow. Give this gentle, playful girl a little time to get to know you, and you’ll get to watch her continue to come out of her shell.
