SHADOW's Story

Shadow is a sweet, affectionate girl who's looking for one thing above all else—a stable, loving forever home where she can finally relax and be cherished.

After her owner passed away several years ago, Shadow remained with the family. Recently, changing family circumstances meant they could no longer care for her, so she found herself outside without a place to call home.

Thankfully, she made her way to Friends of Forks Animals (FOFA), where she was kept safe until she could transfer to Peninsula Friends of Animals. Now she's ready to start the next chapter of her life with someone who will love her forever.

Shadow has been reported to prefer being the only cat in the home, and we're told she hasn't enjoyed sharing her space with other felines in the past. She is also FIV-positive, so if she were to have a feline companion, it should be another FIV+ cat. But, she may be happiest soaking up all of your love and attention as your one and only.

What Shadow wants most is simple: a quiet, secure home, a soft place to nap, and someone to remind her every day that she's safe, loved, and home at last.
