Serrano's Story
Serrano has undergone a remarkable transformation. Once upon a time, she was a spicy little street kitten who thought humans were highly suspicious and best observed from a secure bunker. Today, she's still a bit quirky, but now her biggest priority in life is finding a boyfriend.

Not a human boyfriend. A cat boyfriend.

Serrano is what we lovingly call a "cat's cat." While other kittens are busy trying to charm people, Serrano is scanning the room for eligible bachelors. She absolutely adores male cats and falls hard, fast, and with zero shame. In her current foster home, she spent several days hiding from her foster mom. Then the resident male cat walked into the room. Suddenly, Serrano emerged from hiding, started making biscuits directly on the floor in excitement, and immediately began rubbing all over her new crush. Humans: optional. Boy cat: life-changing.

To put it gently, Serrano does not pass the Bechdel test. She has met many wonderful female cats throughout her life and thinks they're perfectly nice, but if there's a handsome gentleman cat in the room, that's where her attention will be. Her hobbies include following boy cats around, staring lovingly at boy cats, cuddling boy cats, and generally acting like she's starring in a feline rom-com.

Fortunately, she brings a lot more to the table than romantic enthusiasm. Once comfortable, Serrano is an absolute delight: a goofy, playful little weirdo who launches herself around cat trees, chases toys with abandon, and occasionally forgets she's supposed to be the shy one. She has a sweet, gentle nature and forms incredibly strong bonds with her feline friends.

If your current cat has been looking for a best friend, emotional support buddy, or slightly obsessed girlfriend, Serrano may be exactly what they've been waiting for.

She may not be your cat. But she is absolutely your cat's favorite cat.

Please reach out if you're interested! adoption@acatsliferescue.org
