Serena & Venus-bonded pair's Story
If you have any questions, please send an email to Hearts United at:
hucatrescue@gmail.com
You can fill out an application to adopt these cats here:
https://www.hucatrescue.org/adoption-application

Serena & Venus are bonded ten year old sisters who were left behind in the care of a friend when their original owners moved out-of-state. The original owners then cut off contact with the friend, never to return for them. The friend was unable to keep them in the apartment she was staying in, and after six months the landlord demanded that she move out due to having the cats. She contacted us two days before moving to say that if we couldn't pick them up, she would leave them behind outside in the frigid winter weather, where they surely would have perished.
These girls are extremely friendly and affectionate, and will come right up to complete strangers with head butts to ask for attention. They settle into new environments very quickly, and have lived successfully with other cats and a small dog. They also do well with children. Serena is a brown tabby, and Venus is black and white.
They have been spayed and vaccinated. The adoption fee is $200 for both cats as a pair.
